Transitair-TTA is the leading assembler of new trucks/bogies, as well as overhauler of old trucks/bogies of all types ranging from High Speed, Metro, Commuter to LRV.
Additionally, we provide design and manufacture of several sub-systems and components for the trucks, such as piping, wiring, bracketry, etc. for new assembly as well as for replacement and upgrade of overhauled trucks including structural repairs. We are regarded as the “go to” destination for truck/bogie needs.
Transitair enjoys “repeat” relationships with several Transit Agencies and regularly receives large follow-on orders, e.g. MARTA, Baltimore MTA, METRA, NYCT, LIRR, MBTA, VRE, WMATA, SEPTA, CTA, among others.
New Truck Assembly
Transitair-TTA has an extensive history in the assembly and supply of new trucks. Services include layout design assistance with all bracketry, support structure, routing of piping, wiring & cabling.
As part of the turnkey approach for new truck assembly Tranistair-TTA is relied upon for procurement of parts and complex components, welding, painting, full assembly and testing.
Truck Overhaul
Transitair-TTA have extensive experience in overhaul and upgrade of a wide variety of trucks, such as LRV, Heavy Rail, Commuter, powered and push-pull trucks.
We have the ability to establish truck assembly sites at different locations throughout the country, undertaken field upgrade projects, and have also been relied upon to turn around troubled projects.

Truck Frame Repair
Transitair-TTA has extensive experience in Truck Frame Inspection and Repair of both fabricated and cast steel frames and can provide complete turnkey solutions for truck frame weld repair to include inspection flows, weld repair criteria, weld procedures, heat treat plans and post repair inspection.
